Data from the Health department showed that 336,656 have been vaccinated, as of March 20.

"As of March 20, 2021, 6 p.m., 1,623 vaccination sites are conducting COVID-19 vaccination in various sites in 17 regions," said the DOH.

It added that 1,105,600 out of 1,125,600 doses or 98.2 percent have been distributed.

The DOH said that the vaccination pace will soar once bulk of vaccines come in for the next priority groups.

Healthcare workers are the topmost priority in the government’s national COVID-19 immunization program.

The Philippines already received a total donation of 1,125,600 COVID-19 Sinovac and AstraZeneca shots from the Chinese government and the COVAX Facility, respectively.
