Now that she's back in Manila and undergoing quarantine protocols following her trip to Turkey, Bela Padilla seems like relieving her boredom and loneliness by talking to her fans.

On Instagram, Bela engaged her fans in a conversation about her trip to Turkey and shooting abroad during the pandemic.

According to her, traveling alone has made her calmer and taught her how to think quickly on her feet, and allowed her to make friends whom she thought she wouldn't have met if she was with other people.

Though being a tourist at the time of COVID-19 made her anxious, she felt scared about contracting the virus while traveling because she's on immunosuppressants (anti-rejection medications).

Turkey was strict with COVID-19 measures, she said. "I also made sure to wear my mask at all times and in between takes while shooting. We also changed our masks every few hours to be safe."

Bela went to Turkey to shoot her upcoming film "366," which was partially shot in Cappadocia --  a semi-arid region in central Turkey known for its distinctive “fairy chimneys,” tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Monks Valley, Göreme, and elsewhere.

It was last month when Bela officially finished the scenes in Manila for her directorial debut film along with actors Zanjoe Marudo and JC Santos.

Bela also thanked her foreign boyfriend Norman Ben Bay for being a big help during the said trip.

She shared that she usually doesn't have an itinerary when she travels, but her bae mapped out their trip after filming.

"I wasn't alone on this particular trip. Hi, again @nocir but when I do travel alone, I usually feel safe because I read about my destination beforehand and I don't post real-time. Also, I have people back home that check on me everyday, and if I don't answer, they have the number of the hotel/airbnb I'm staying at," she said when asked if she feels safe traveling alone.

Bela also revealed some details about her boyfriend. "He's Swiss-Italian and lives in Zurich at the moment."
