No bashers involved this time, just the Megastar, Sharon Cuneta, proving herself mega-affectionate even to a stray dog.
Sharon got acquainted with the stray while shooting a film in Olongapo, recently.
She related on social media, "Ito po yung Aspin na pinapahanap ko sa Olongapo, sa saradong beach resort na set namin ko siya nakita. Sana talaga inuwi ko na siya. Napakasweet. May sakit sa balat at halos sumara na mga mata sa muta. Baka may makakilala sa inyo sa Olongapo. Malambing ang asong ito sa akin di ko makalimutan. Sana makita sya."
Fans were quick to share her post until eventually a dog shelter told her they have the pooch in their care.
Sharon was overjoyed.
She wrote, "All IS well now! I cannot wait to see you again and this time hold you and love you! And do you know what your name will be? You will be PAWI!!! Because I met you where Pawi @gumabaomarco and I were filming! You are special. Your age doesn’t matter to me.
"My love for you does. You’ll be home soon, Pawi boy! Hang in there! The good doctors will take good care of you. And then...you’ll see just how much Mama will love you! Praise God. Thank You Jesus!"
Sharonians and fellow celebrities including Angel Locsin, Marco Gumabao, Rosanna Roces, among others, followed intently the dramatic story as it unfolded.
