Bacoor vaccinates 114 health workers in first COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Cavite


BACOOR CITY, Cavite - The city government led the first coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccine rollout in the province on Wednesday (March 10).

A total of 114 health workers in the Southern Tagalog Regional Hospital (STRH) were given Sinovac vaccines provided by the national government.

Present during the ceremonial vaccination were Department of Health Region IV-A Regional Director Dr. Eduardo Janairo, Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla, Congressman Strike Revilla, STRH Director Dr. Ephraim Rubiano, and Bacoor City Health Officer Dr. Ivy Yrastorza.

Revilla thanked the national government for providing vaccines for the city's healthcare workers in public and private medical institutions.

The city government also received additional 238 vials of vaccine scheduled to be administered on Friday (March 12).
