Shabu worth P13.6 M seized in Muntinlupa buy-bust operation


Authorities seized two kilos of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P13.6 million from five individuals including two college students in a buy-bust operation conducted near a popular fast food chain in Tunasan, Muntinlupa Monday night.

Joint operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-National Capital Region, Southern Police District, and Muntinlupa City Police Station conducted the operation at 9:05 p.m. on March 8.

PDEA identified the suspects as Liezel Julhasan, 40, Donnalyn Julhasan, 21 (second year college student), both of Katarungan Village, Poblacion, Muntinlupa; Denver Porlahe, 19 (first year college student), of Bgy. Langgam, San Pedro, Laguna; Sharifa Kuly, 28 (online seller) of Bgy. Cuyab, San Pedro, Laguna; and Rovelyn Enot, 40, of Type B, NBP Reservation, Poblacion, Muntinlupa.

Recovered from the suspects were two kilos of shabu, seven cell phones, four ID cards, one unit of Toyota Wigo, and boodle money.
