The San Juan City government announced on Tuesday (March 9) the reimposition of its city-wide curfew amid the still rising number of COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila.
San Juan City Mayor Francisco Zamora said that the city-wide curfew was made possible after the city government approve the Executive Order No. FMZ-072, Series of 2021.
The said curfew will start tonight from 10 p.m to 5 a.m.
Those exempted from the curfew include:
- Health workers and frontline personnel
- On-duty police, military, and law enforcement personnel
- Employees of the city government
- Workers who can provide proof of their employment
- PUV drivers
- Delivery services
As of March 8, the city recorded 148 active COVID-19 cases with 3,792 recoveries and 106 deaths.
