A magnitude 3.6 earthquake rocked Davao del Norte on Sunday, March 7.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake occurred at 10:55 a.m.
The temblor’s epicenter was plotted eight kilometers (km) northwest of Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte.
The tremor was tectonic in origin and had a depth of focus of 27 km.
Phivolcs measured an instrumental intensity of Intensity I in Malungon town, Sarangani province.
State seismologists said no damage or aftershocks were expected following the quake.
