This was bared by Pasay City National Immunization Program coordinator, Dr. Mercedes Noble, in a radio interview with DZMM TeleRadyo on Saturday (Feb. 27).

She said that health workers of the city were added to the list of those who will be receiving Sinovac vaccine in its first rollout in the country.

Malacañang announced that the first batch of Sinovac vaccine will arrive in the country on Feb. 28.

“Nung una po, sinabi na mga mga hospitals lang muna na mauuna. Pero ngayon po, naisama na po kami. Ano mang oras dumating ang bakuna ay ready kami (Originally, we were told that personnel of hospitals will be vaccinated first. But now, we have been included. Whatever time the vaccine arrives, we are prepared),” said Noble.

Meanwhile, Noble said they will orient their health workers again next week to ensure that the proper guidelines during vaccinations will be followed.

Pasay City has 13 vaccination sites which will be manned by their personnel from their health centers, Noble said.

The city’s national immunization program coordinator said that she herself will get vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine.
