In a Facebook post on Feb. 24, Bonifacio High Street (BHS) said Fifth Avenue will be closed to vehicles every Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 9 p.m.

BHS said the car-free weekends will be done to allow people to “freely stroll, dine, and play” at the "My Street High Street" on Fifth Avenue.

"My Street High Street" is an open area where the public can dine and stroll.

BHS, however, reminded the public that based on the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases’ (IATF-EID) protocols, “minors and seniors” are prohibited from “dining inside restos or in alfresco areas.”

“But they may order take-away,” BHS added.
