Filipino mixed martial arts icons partnered with a non-profit organization that focuses on youth development and education for the poor.

Truth x Lakay Gaming, ran by ONE Championship stars Joshua Pacio, Eduard Folayang, Kevin Belingon of Team Lakay and Brandon Vera, will be conducting a two-day charity stream on from Feb. 27 to 28, in support of Young Focus.

Team Lakay will begin its stream on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. while Vera follows suit the next day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Secretlab, a renowned gaming chair brand, will also pitch in five Omega 2020 series chairs for Young Focus' computer program.

Young Focus gives educational support and developmental programs to the poor children living around the "Smokey Mountain" area of Tondo, Manila.

The group also provides training in health, nutrition, hygiene and parenting skills

Per Young Focus, the average family income from direct and indirect means in the garbage "industry" amounts to US$5 per day or around P244.

This wasn't the first time that Truth x Lakay partnered with a non-profit organization as it raised over P50,000 in monetary funds with Save the Children Philippines for the victims of Typhoons “Rolly” and “Ulysses” last November amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Powered by ONE Championship and ONE ESports, Lakay x Gaming is a gaming platform launched last October that delivers Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and League of Legends: Wild Rift content through Facebook Gaming.
