Would you wear these bloody monster shoes?

Crocs and Margiela's Tabi shoes are only a few of modern day footwear that used to raise eyebrows but now widely appreciated. This time, we found a designer brand that not only curates sustainable monster shoes, but also makes wearable butts ala Kim Kardashian. Lo and behold, Beate Karlsson.

Karlsson is a Swedish designer who studied fashion design at Parsons School of Design and Central Saint Martins. Her works have been featured in publications like Paper and Dazed, who said that the work of the New York-based designer is about to come for Margiela's unconventional footwear designs.

Select few of the monster shoes that caught our attention are the bloody shoes, which is a four-toed thigh-high red boots resembling blood-dripping monster legs, and a pair as monstrous but comes in a green colorway, mimicking slime covered feet.

Her designs don't end with amphibian-looking shoes, she also produces silicone-based materials like wearable butts inspired by Kim Kardashian's iconic bum, which was first seen on New York Fashion Week in February last year.

The pandemic has changed a lot of people's perspective in life, and some in fashion. If these monster shoes and "buttwear" were sitting in your closet, would they be a choice of OOTD you'd wear when you go out of quarantine?
