"Tulong Mandirigma," was launched by UE students to help a fellow student and her family who are among the victims of the blaze.

"We are asking for basic necessities and monetary donations for Ericka Joyce Pernito and other families affected by the fire incident in Gate 20 Parola Compound, Tondo, Manila," UE Kaisa wrote on its Facebook page.

In-kind donations such as ready-to-eat food, water, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, face masks, toiletries, and medicine may be directly sent to Pernito through her Facebook account or UE Kaisa's Facebook page.

On Sunday night, five people, including four minors, were confirmed dead in a six-hour blaze that razed the Parola Compound in Tondo.
