The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, Feb. 22, informed the public  that the April 7 and 8, Midwives Licensure Examination has been rescheduled to Nov. 7 and 8.

In a Facebook post, the Commission cited the "unpredictable circumstances and continued restrictions brought by the extended community quarantines" as reason.

PRC said this is also to "ensure the health and safety of all examinees and examination personnel."

The application for the said licensure examination, the Commission said, will start on April 21, 2021 until June 21, 2021.
PRC said those who have queries and concerns may email the Licensure Division at [email protected]  and [email protected].

Earlier this month, the PRC also announced that the March 28, 2021 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) has been rescheduled to Sept. 26, 2021 due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

"Pursuant to Resolution No. 1256, (s.2020), wherein LEPT is classified as a large-scale licensure examination that should not be administered during this pandemic, the PRC informs the public that the March 28, 2021 LEPT has been rescheduled to September 26, 2021," PRC said in an advisory.
