Darryl Yap says he is blessed working with everyone involved in 'Tililing'

Darryl Yap's rise to the ranks were always followed by heavy criticism but that doesn't change his perception on how blessed he is to work with some of the industry's best artists for the upcoming "Tililing."

"Walang bashing na makakapag-alis sa blessing na napa-oo ko itong anim na artista," said Darryl.

After answering a flurry of questions in a recently held online press conference, Darryl would often praise the cast members.

Darryl jokingly said "kinakabisado niya (Candy Pangilinan) po kahit hindi niya script, kunin niyo po ito, sulit na sulit ang bayad."

He also acknowledged Viva Films for making the production process easier as Darryl explained, "I'm very happy that Viva always follow my requests, lahat ng cast ko is first choice."

"I would never imagine 'Tililing' with anyone else." he added.

When it comes to the bashers of the film, he didn't really pay much attention to it, because he is viewing it all as a blessing.

To clarify things even further, the "Tililing" director said that tthe official theatre release will have a different poster, unlike the one containing the faces of the cast which he created, not Viva.

Darryl recalled, "I don't really handle haters, siguro I took it as a blessing kasi di napapagod yung VIVA na mag promote.

"Maybe the controversy sometimes come from me but most of the time from the people. Siguro dahil bago, di pa natatalakay, at masyadong magaspang at malakas ang dating."

Darryl also related that he wants this movie to break borders and make it known to discuss mental health openly, and the right way.

Premiering this March 5 on selected cinemas, "Tililing" stars Baron Geisler, Gina Pareño, Candy Pangilinan, Donnalyn Bartolome, Yumi Lacsamana and Chad Kinis.
