Manila Bulletin wins silver at 56th Anvil Awards

Launched last year in several of Manila Bulletin's official social media accounts, the #NoToFakeNews "Don't Ignore It, Report It" is an audiovisual presentation that aims to spread awareness on the proliferation of fake news in social media amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
"A single click can change, dictate or overturn someone’s life. In times of crisis, wear vigilance like an armor," Manila Bulletin said.

Manila Bulletin's entry was awarded as a digital public relations program-advocacy campaign.
Manila Bulletin's entry was recognized during the 56th Anvil Awards' Gabi ng Parangal held on Friday, Feb. 19, via exclusive live streaming.
Presented annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil is awarded to outstanding public relations (PR) programs, tools, and practitioners after careful screening by select PR professionals and judging by a distinguished multi-sectoral jury.
In particular, the Silver Anvil Award is given to public relations programs and tools that meet the highest standards in their respective categories based on set criteria for the Silver ANVIL Awards.
For this year, Anvil Awards received as many as 543 entries from different companies, PR agencies, and media companies.
This year's theme “PR for Good” recognized purpose-driven and impactful initiatives that promote corporate integrity and the social good during crises and across platforms.
For this year's awards, distinct categories have been included such as COVID-related PR programs and tools, digital PR programs, digital PR tools, and crisis or issues management for the government.
