Industrial lubricant firm expands presence in PH

Castrol Philippines has partnered with North Trend Marketing Corporation (NTM) for the distribution of the world’s leading industrial lubes products as it seeks to further expand presence in the country.

According to Castrol Philippines General Manager Ria Tañada, their partner New Trend Marketing “has the infrastructure, experience, knowledge and financial capability to manage the B2B (business-to-business) lubricant portfolio of Castrol in the Philippines.”

She added that by leaning on these key strengths, “We are confident that NTM will be able to help us as we continue to fulfill our mission of pioneering and delivering innovative solutions that anticipate and meet customers’ needs.”

Under their agreement, NTM will “offer the (Castrol) brand’s line-up of top tier products and service solutions that cater to industries and businesses that are vital to the economy of the country.”

The key markets being targeted are those that are used in the transport of passengers and goods; operation of earthmovers, equipment and machinery used in forestry and agriculture, mining, manufacturing, processing plants, ships and power plants.

Castrol is one of the world’s leading suppliers of high performance oils, fluids, lubricants and greases for the automotive, industrial, marine and aerospace industries.

At the same time, it is a brand that has been advancing in the provision of sustainable solutions in improving energy efficiency; which will consequently pare carbon footprint in line with goals enshrined under the Paris agreement.
