The total number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the country rose to 555,163 on Thursday.
This after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 1,744 new COVID-19 cases.
In the Feb. 18 case bulletin, the Health department also reported 412 new recoveries and 96 deaths.
Total recoveries now stood at 512,375 while the total number of deaths is at 11,673.
According to DOH, five duplicates were removed from the total case count.
"Moreover, 68 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation," the Health department said.
The DOH said six labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS) on Feb. 17, 2021.
