Topshop and Topman to close down all stores in the Philippines

Following the announcement of its US stores closing down and looming bankruptcy reports, Arcadia Group (parent company of Topshop, Topman, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, and other brands under its umbrella) will close down physical stores in other countries as well, the Philippines included.

On a post made by Topshop on their Instagram account, the British fashion retailer announced that the brand is now part of Asos.com, a one-stop fashion website. On a report made by the Insider, Asos was said to have also bought few of the company's sister brands like Miss Selfridge, Topman, and HIIT for $364 million.

In the Philippines, as of date, Topshop and Topman stores in Mall of Asia are still operational, carrying sale products from the retail brand. Online, the brands are currently still being carried by Zalora, another e-retailer. The group has announced complete closure of its remaining stores by April 2021.
