Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced on Tuesday that the city government is now collecting the data of residents who will benefit from the free COVID-19 vaccination.
Aguilar said each barangays has started conducting surveys in their areas of jurisdiction to determine the residents who are willing to be inoculated.
She said barangay officials will be going around their areas for the manual registration of every family in the community. They will be given profiling forms to be filled out.
The mayor added that after filling out the forms, these will be passed on to their barangays or their homeowners association with 2x2 size ID photo and a photocopy of their government issued IDs with address.
Aguilar said the city government also launched an online registration through QR Code scanning or by visiting bit.ly/ Las Pinas vaccination.
City Administrator Rey Balagulan said they also have a Quick Substitution List (QSL) in case a resident who signed up for the vaccine backs out of the program. He said the QSL was made to ensure that no vaccines will be wasted and will be given to those who are willing to be inoculated.
He said the city government has been conducting an information drive on the need to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
