Seven-time Philippine Executive Chess Association (PECA) champion Dr. Jenny Mayor, International Arbiter James Infiesto and Social Security System Senior Custodian Bobot Medrano banner the field in the 2021 National Executive Chess Championship to be held online on Thursday, Feb.18.
The one-day tournament will feature a nine-round Swiss system forum with a time control of five minutes each player. It will be open to all qualified PECA members.
The champion player will receive P5,000 while second and third placers will pocket P3,000 and P2,000. Monetary prizes will also be given to the remaining Top 10 placers, as well as top players in Senior, Lady, 2100 and below, 2000-below, 100-below, 1800-below and unrated divisions.
