Tessica Brown of Louisiana in the US went viral after applying a Gorilla Glue adhesive spray on her hair instead of a hair spray. She underwent a procedure to salvage what remained on her hair, according to a report from TMZ.

The 40-year-old woman went to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng who offered to do her surgery for free which took four hours to finish.

Brown first shared her Gorilla Glue nightmare on TikTok. Her hair had been stuck for more than a month and she suffered from severe headaches and even went to the emergency room, TMZ added.

After she swapped her regular hair spray with Gorilla Glue to put her hair in place, she had been struggling to remove the glue by washing it off several times and trying at-home remedies which, unfortunately, made the situation worse.

Dr. Obeng combined medical grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil, and a dash of acetone to break down the polyurethane, the main ingredient in Gorilla Glue.

"We are glad that Miss Brown was able to be treated and we hope that she is doing well," a representative from Gorilla Glue told TMZ.
