De Lima on medical furlough at Manila Doctors Hospital


Opposition Senator Leila de Lima, on a medical furlough, underwent a two-day series of routine medical tests at the Manila Doctors Hospital in Manila.

De Lima was escorted quickly back to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City by a convoy of police security.       

She was described in good spirits when she arrived at the Manila Doctors Hospital at 10:30 A.M yesterday, February 11.       

De Lima, who entered the hospital clad in a purple PPE, face shield and face mask, underwent several tests, including X-Ray, CT scan, among others.          

She left the hospital at 10:50 A.M. today.    

A week before her fourth year in ‘’unjust’’ detention on Feb. 24, the Muntinlupa RTC Branch 205, hearing two of the three drug cases against her, is set to issue a resolution on her filed Demurrer to Evidence to dismiss these cases.
