Makati City Mayor Abigail "Abby" Binay led the inspection of the "Bakuna Makati" simulation exercise to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the city's inoculation drive once vaccines reach the country.

Binay said that the setup for Makati Coliseum will cater to the first batch of frontliners who will be inoculated from the virus.

The mayor added that residents who will be vaccinated will undergo five phases: registration, counseling, screening, vaccination, and post-vaccination monitoring.

Binay previously said that the city has acquired one million doses of vaccines from British-Swedish biopharmaceutical firm AstraZeneca after signing a tripartite agreement with the firm and the national government through the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).
