Mark Bumgarner creates a wedding look inspired by Carrie Bradshaw

That full skirt is definitely a 'Sex and the City' moment

Before the time we fell in love with the ethereal period dressing in "Bridgerton" or marvel at the vintage style in "The Queen's Gambit," there were Carrie Bradshaw and her New Yorker babes of "Sex and the City" (SATC) that turned our '90s TV viewing a more fashionable experience. It revolutionized not only how women were depicted on the screen, but also the norms of the feminine style. No wonder its much-awaited comeback was received with great response.

Now, if you're also a devout SATC disciple, then you're definitely going to love this wedding dress. Filipino fashion designer Mark Bumgarner recreated the fictional sex columnist's wedding look for bride du jour Vern Enciso-Lim.

The custom-made dress channeled Carrie's wedding look she found at a vintage shop in the first SATC movie. Mark's design included a tailored jacket and his signature clover skirt, which was also inspired by Christian Dior's The New Look. The dress took only two weeks to be made before Vernie and her husband Ben Lim's Cebu wedding.

"You are the best Mark," Vern said. "This was literally two weeks in the making and we fitted this only through Zoom, but it turned out so perfect."

According to the designer, the bride styled the look with a royal blue satin Manolo Blahnik heels embellished with rhinestones, another reference to her fashion icon's style.

Best wishes to you, Vern and Ben!
