Kiefer Ravena is one proud Atenean senior to Isaac Go.

Ravena and Go are currently holed up training at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna in preparation for the third window of the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers in Doha, Qatar.

Ravena, in an Instagram Story Sunday, posted a photo of them describing Go as one of the "smartest" players he had played with, adding a brain emoji in the caption.

"Not so long ago he was my rookie," wrote Ravena, accompanied with a senior citizen emoji.

Go, a product of Xavier High School, was supposed to suit up for his rookie year in UAAP Season 77 but was later removed from the lineup after suffering an injury.

The 6-foot-8 Ateneo big man finally debuted the following season, where Ravena also bid farewell to the Blue Eagles as the Most Valuable Player of Season 78.

The 24-year-old Go, for his part, enjoyed the last three years with the Blue Eagles as defending champions with the help of Kiefer's brother Thirdy and Ange Kouame.

Now, the older Ravena and Go will play side-by-side in the international scene as Gilas Pilipinas competes with South Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand in Group A.
