All qualified Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) old-age pensioners may now apply for the Enhanced Pension Loan program.
Under the Enhanced Pension Loan program, old-age pensioners, regardless of age, may borrow up to six times their basic monthly pension but not more than P500,000.
The pensioners' resulting net monthly pension after availing of the loan must be at least 25 percent of their basic monthly pension
Old-age pensioners may apply for the loan through the following facilities
- Electronic GSIS Member Online (eGSISMO)
- Designated email addresses of branch office listed in GSIS website
- Over-the-counter
Application for the loan through the GSIS Wireless Automated Processing System (GWAPS) kiosks will be initially available in the machines located at the GSIS Head Office in Pasay City.
The availability of the loan via GWAPS kiosks in other areas will be announced in the coming weeks.
