A member of the Citizen’s Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) was injured in a grenade explosion in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao Saturday.
Police identified the victim as Joey Reyes.
Reports said an unidentified man threw a grenade at the Lining Detachment of the 1st Mechanized Batallion of the Philippine Army (PA) in Barangay Lapu-Lapu at 1:40 p.m.
Reyes sustained shrapnel wound in his left arm and was taken to the Integrated Provincial Health Office in Maguindanao.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
