Cristina Gonzalez-Romualdez makes showbiz comeback, signs up with Viva

After years of public service in Tacloban City, Cristina Gonzalez-Romualdez is back to her first love - showbusiness.

Cristina announced her showbiz comeback during a press conference of Viva Artist Agency where she signed up Jan. 29.

Before any questions were asked, the joyful and glowing Cristina greeted everyone and shared her insight on why she's back.

"Showbusiness, that's really my first love, nakagisnan ko na yan since my dad, so I thought why not diba? Do something that I love."

The "Nang Gabing Mamulat si Eba" actress also shared some of her secrets in keeping her good looks after all these years: "Just trying to keep myself stress free and two things: I'm happy to be a brand ambassador (BeautéDerm) at kasama na rin yung eating healthy and to keep a positive outlook and Faith with God."


"Keep your joy, kasi kung hindi tatanda tayo agad and it may cause illnesses kaya kailangan healthy tayo." she ended.

As a returning veteran of the showbiz industry, Romualdez's message to the uprising stars is: "Be professional, and remember that it's still a job, a work and treat it as a work. Stay humble.

"It pays to be kind to people, as much as possible I wanna stay happy, no matter what happens around you, stay happy!" said Cristina.

Daughter to the late actor José Mari Gonzáles, Cristina was introduced as a singer by the name "Kring Kring." She would later appear on the big screen with mostly leading lady roles.

Some of her films are: "Nang gabing mamulat si Eba" (1992) and Kahit may mahal ka ng iba (1993) "Pedrito Masangkay: Walang bakas na iniwan" (1994) among others.
