New Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Jhosep Y. Lopez has been designated member of the court’s Third Division in a Special Order issued by Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta.
Thus, aside from Lopez, the Third Division is now composed of Associate Justice Marvic Mario Victor F. Leonen as chairperson with Associate Justices Ramon Paul I. Hernando, Henri Jean Paul B. Inting, and Edgardo L. delos Santos as members.
The First Division is headed by Peralta as chairperson with Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin S. Caguioa as working chairperson and Associate Justices Rosmari D. Carandang, Rodil V. Zalameda, and Samuel H. Gaerlan as members.
The Second Division is headed by Senior Associate Justice Estela M. Perlas Bernabe as chairperson with Associate Justices Alexander G. Gesmundo, Amy C. Lazaro Javier, Mario V. Lopez, and Ricardo R. Rosario as members.
The SC meets as a full court every Tuesday. Its divisions hold sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Special full court and division sessions may be called as exigencies arise.
