KPPO Director Co. Davy Limmong said government operatives conducted the two-day marijuana eradication after getting a tip-off from a concerned farmer on Friday, January 22.

Limmong said the operatives first discovered a public lot with an estimated land area of 1,000 square meters planted with 6,000 fully grown marijuana with estimated worth of P1.2 million.

The team then proceeded to two more sites which had 4,800 grown marijuana plants, estimated to be worth P960,000.

Limmong said the marijuana were mixed with vegetables that were also planted in these plantations.
