STEAMING REVIEW: Game of Thrones’ Jon Snow and Big Bang Theory’s Raj star in new season of ‘Criminal United Kingdom’

If you’re missing Game of Thrones actor Kit Harrington, who played the character of Jon Snow in the epic HBO series, you’re in luck because he is one of the featured actors in Netflix original series Criminal United Kingdom.

For the second season of the hit show, Harrington stars in the episode Alex where he plays the role of an arrogant businessman accused of rape by a female subordinate.

Harrington’s role was a far cry from his famous GoT character but he effectively delivers a mixed bag of emotions with his portrayal – from confidence, frustration, depression, and anger -- the actor goes through all these in the space of 44 minutes.

Big Bang Theory actor Kunal Nayyar also sheds his comedic “Raj” persona to dig deep into the character of a convicted murderer who is being interrogated by London authorities about a separate murder case. He appears in the last episode of the season entitled Sandeep.

Criminal is a Netflix original series that has been adapted in France, Germany, Spain and the UK. The UK version is currently on its second season.

Criminal is a police procedural anthology series that tackles different cases per episode. Each instalment takes place within the confines of an interrogation room with authorities presenting evidence as they question a particular suspect for a specific crime.
