Those with unclaimed COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) financial assistance in Metro Manila take note.
The Department of Labor and Employment-National Capital Region on Wednesday announced that the claiming of assistance in their partner money remittance outlets is until January 22, 2021 only.
"Sa lahat ng mga employers o mga indibidwal na mga aplikante sa Metro Metro na naabisuhan ng DOLE-NCR na kunin ang kanilang unclaimed CAMP Financial Assistance sa aming partner money remittance outlets ay pinapaalalahanan na kuhanin na agad ang ayuda hanggang Biyernes, ika-22 ng Enero 2021 (To all employers or individual applicants in Metro Metro who have been notified by DOLE-NCR to get their unclaimed CAMP Financial Assistance at our partner money remittance outlets are reminded to get the aid immediately until Friday, January 22, 2021)," DOLE-NCR said in a Facebook post.
"Matapos po ang nabanggit na petsa ay aming ikakansela na ang kanilang CAMP Financial Assistance at ibibigay na sa ibang aplikante na nangangailangan (After the said date, we will cancel their CAMP Financial Assistance and give it to other applicants who need it)," it added.
CAMP provides a one-time financial assistance of P5,000 to affected workers in private establishments.
The DOLE stopped accepting applications for CAMP in December 2020 after the program reached the number of target beneficiaries.
The Labor department, however, said that their regional offices shall continue receiving and processing applications for financial assistance under CAMP for tourism sector workers.
