DOLE Assistant Secretary Dominique Tutay said these jobs are under the health related sector, construction and the business process outsourcing.

She said jobs under the health related sector are those for nurses, medical technologists, medical practitioners, and pharmacists.

Construction related jobs, Tutay said, are those for civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and architects.

She said jobs under the BPO sector are information technology (IT), customer service representatives, programmers, encoders as well as App and game developers.

"We have many vacancies posted in our TNK (Trabaho Negosyo Kabuhayan) website," Tutay said during the Laging Handa press briefing.

The DOLE's Bureau of Local Employment TNK webpage is an on-line platform  initially  designed to provide employment opportunities and entrepreneurial options  to all types of jobseekers including returning overseas Filipino workers, K-12 graduates, persons with disabilities, and senior citizens.

The web page may be accessed via http://www.ble.dole.gov.ph/index.php/TNK.

Based on the DOLE job displacement monitoring report, 400,000 workers were permanently displaced last year amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Labor department said 4.5 million workers were also affected by flexible work arrangement and temporary closure.
