TUGUEGARAO CITY – A policeman from the Madela Police Station in Quirino, who has been reported missing since December 29, was found dead floating on the Addalam River near the banks of Barangay Cabugao, Aglipay, Quirino, on January 2.
Lt Col. Andree Abella , Police Regional Office 2 Information Officer said, the decomposing body of P/Chief Master Sergeant Dexter Manicap Altre was found floating at the river.
It was reported that Barangay Cabugao Chairperson Frederick Galam reported to the Aglipay Police that one of his constituents found the body of Altre floating on the river at around 12:45 p.m. on January 2.
The victim was positively identified by his son Denver Altre.
The remains of Altre were brought to Maddela, Quirino where an autopsy was set to be conducted.
