The agencies of K-pop group Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon, 31, and boy band VIXX member Ravi, 27, have denied the two are dating.

This after Korean news outlet Joynews24 published an exclusive report and photos on Dec. 27 stating Taeyeon and Ravi had a date on Christmas Day.

SM Entertainment, Taeyeon’s agency, said the two are just close senior and junior colleagues who work on music.

Korean media reported that Ravi’s agency GROOVL1N initially confirmed the report but later corrected it and denied the two are dating.

Joynews24 reported that Taeyeon and Ravi have been dating for a year. It was reported that Girl’s Day member Hyeri was the one who introduced the two.

It said Ravi visited Taeyeon’s house in Seongsu-dong in Seoul around 10 a.m. and then they went to Ravi’s house in Seolleung in Gangnam.

Taeyeon was a guest on Ravi’s show “Question Mark” on Naver Now on Dec. 21. Ravi appeared as a guest on “DoReMi Market,” also known as “Amazing Saturday,” which aired on Nov. 28. Taeyeon is a cast member of the TV show.

According to a YouTube video by reporter Lee Yeji or “Simple Lee” who wrote the story, she "got the information from a person in the entertainment industry who knows the two very well."

“The two have a relationship that cares and relies on each other beyond seniors and juniors in the music industry. The judgment is yours,” she said, adding that Taeyeon and Ravi met together for three days from Dec. 25 to 27.

She said, “Ravi and Taeyeon are famous celebrities so they mostly dated at home. They kept meeting in a busy schedule.”

Simple Lee said after the news report was published, the security at Taeyeon’s residential building became very tight.

“Whether they are working on music together as senior and junior in the music industry” or they are dating, “please let the public judge that two nights and three days,” she said.
