Ray An Fuentes' wife, Mei-Ling, 68, has succumbed to the novel coronavirus disease.
The singer himself made the painful announcement on Monday via Facebook.
“My sweetie has gone home for good,” Fuentes wrote.
He detailed his wife died Dec. 27, at 4:15 p.m.
Note that Fuentes’ entire family — including their children Daniella, Miguel, and Julio — tested positive for COVID-19 early December.
Ray An was discharged from the hospital on Dec. 20.
Mei-Ling's condition deteriorated, though.
“We finally just had to release her to the Lord because the other possible reality is brain damage. We didn’t want her to suffer anymore,” Fuentes said.
“I am so heartbroken. This is so painful,” he added.
