Maine Mendoza's mom seeks NBI help to identify suspects in alleged sex video case

The mother of actress Maine Mendoza sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Monday, Dec. 28, for the arrest of suspects who produced the alleged sex video of the Kapuso star.

Mary Ann Mendoza went to the Cybercrime Division of the NBI to file a complaint about the viral sex video.

Cybercrime Division chief Victor Lorenzo said Mrs. Mendoza was accompanied by a lawyer.

Lorenzo assured Mrs. Mendoza that the NBI will gather pieces of evidence against the perpetrators of the sex video which went viral Dec. 22.

The suspects will face charges for cyberlibel, unjust vexation, identity theft, and Anti-Voyeurism Act and Safe Spaces Act.

Maine has denied she was the woman in the viral sex video.
