One netizen’s post paying a tribute to a “dedicated” police officer caught the attention of the public. Netizen Ria Momblan posted on social media the reality of being a cop’s daughter.
“My father is also a police officer,” she said in a now-viral Facebook post. “I never feared men at arms because I grew up witnessing how honorable their job is.”
Momblan said both his father and grandfather are from the military, making her used to seeing them carrying guns.
“But never have I seen them use it to their advantage to incite fear to others,” she said. “It just pisses me off to see some of them took advantage of their position and even have the audacity to brag about it. Pulis din ang tatay ko at alam niya kung saan siya lulugar.”
Momblan points out that fathers should raise their children well. “Above all, human dignity,” she added.
