Exactly five years ago on Dec. 20, Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach was crowned Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada!
Pia is the third Filipina to win the prestigious title.
Filipino pageant fans celebrated Pia's triumph as it ended the country's drought in the Miss Universe contest.
Even until now, fans are still celebrating her pageant victory through posts in social media.
But it seems like Pia is not in the mood to celebrate in 2020 the event that changed her life forever five years ago. For Dec. 20, her posts on IG were pictures for a product endorsement and her memorable trip to Greece with her boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey.
Pia has even deleted the Miss Universe 2015 title among her credentials on Instagram.
So why is Pia not celebrating her fifth anniversary as Miss Universe this year? Let's count the possibilities:
1) The German-Filipino beauty queen is too busy to celebrate her anniversary as Miss Universe.
2) Pia's boyfriend Scottish businessman's Jeremy Jauncey is more important than the Miss Universe anniversary.
3) Pia apparently wants to focus on other important activities.
4) There's more to life than Miss Universe so she's moving on.
5) She does not want to be compared to other Miss Universe queens.
6) Pia forgot all about it.
