Thousands of complaints are turning up on social media platforms about the outages of Google Services. The issue prevented users from accessing most of the services offered by Google.
In Google Workspace Status Dashboard, they acknowledged the issue and posted:
"We're aware of a problem with Gmail affecting a majority of users. The affected users are unable to access Gmail. We will provide an update by 12/14/20, 8:12 PM detailing when we expect to resolve the problem. Please note that this resolution time is an estimate and may change."
According to Downdetector, a website which notes when services go offline, the majority of those reporting issues were in North America, Asia, and Europe.
