Fire hits residential area in Makati

A fire hit a residential area in Trabajo Street, Barangay Olympia in Makati City on Thursday, Dec. 7.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire was raised to the first alarm at 5:23 p.m. and escalated to the second alarm at 5:36 p.m.

Firefighters declared fire out at 7:12 p.m.

The number of families and houses affected by the fire and the cost of damages are still being determined by the BFP.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
