From silhouettes and color palette to styled looks and hairstyle, Francis Libiran's latest collection "Androgyny" truly braids the connection of genders.

Last month, the fashion designer launched his first-ever gender-fluid streetstyle collection “8 by Francis Libiran” filled with stylish and utilitarian apparel. This time, Libiran held a virtual fashion show where he presented an androgynous-engineered collection of "wearable haute couture pieces" for his 21^st anniversary.

Libiran showcased his assemblage in a man-made shrubbery inside Resorts World Manila, where solid and earth-toned garments flooded the runway. The models, who looked like a duplicate of one another, wore oversized tops, sheer pieces, unconventional, and utilitarian pieces of multi-pocketed jumpsuits, slit pants, and D-ring detailed outerwear.

“Androgyny was created for people who are brave enough to make a statement without conforming to societal standards,” Libiran says. “That’s how fashion should be in the first place — free-flowing, fluid and boundless.”

Talking about the eccentric details of androgyny, Libiran continues, “We are happy by the warm response of everyone after we presented our first digital fashion runway show. We’ve been receiving a lot of orders and the reception by our friends, especially in Hollywood is totally overwhelming. We cannot wait to see 'Androgyny' take the global stage."
