Dec 2 is special non-working holiday in Pasay City

The Pasay City government has suspended classes in both public and private schools as well as work in government offices on Dec. 2 in celebration of the city’s 157th founding anniversary.

But agencies involved in the delivery of basic health services, response to disasters and calamities and other vital services need to report for work, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said.

One of the highlights of the celebration is the opening of the night market Friday (November 27) to give livelihood to displaced vendors throughout the Christmas season.

Rubiano said the city will also issue certified true copy of birth, marriage and death certificates for free from Dec. 3 to 29 to residents and registered voters of Pasay City.
