Robredo took to Facebook to warn netizens of Tricia’s fake account which has been sending hate messages.

The vice president said the fake Facebook account is an imitation, with Tricia’s profile picture and entries on it, having a lot of followers.

“Tricia only has one Facebook account and hers is verified. May blue check siya sa katabi ng name (see left picture),” she said in her post late Friday night.

Robredo asked the public to report the fake account which she said is being “promoted by sick minds” in the digital world.

The lady official noted all conversations and the comments linked to Tricia’s fake account appeared to be “scripted.”

“Please report the players and all those involved as well. They are fake news peddlers who do not deserve any space online,” Robredo said.

“Again, this is now the culture being promoted in our midst – a culture of hate and lies. Let us not succumb to this. Hindi ganito tayong mga Filipino. We are so much better than this,” she added.

Tricia herself disowned the fake account which has been making rounds on social media.

“Hi friends, you know I don’t talk like this (and that I’m rarely on messenger),” she wrote.

Robredo’s daughter has been on the news since last week after she was called out by Presidential spokesman Harry Roque for joining in the bandwagon of people asking President Duterte’s whereabouts during Typhoon “Ulysses.”

Tricia is now a licensed doctor after she passed this year’s physician licensure examination. The vice president could not be any prouder of her daughter for her achievement.
