In a statement, BJMP-11 said the results released on Thursday included 108 results of the 201 swab tests taken from both PDL and jail personnel.

"Before they were tested, these PDL were already isolated because they were in close contact with the first eight PDLs who tested positive, as per reports last November 24, 2020. All 15 COVID-19 positive PDL are all asymptomatic," the BJMP said.

It said the five personnel are currently isolated, and that contact tracing was ongoing.

BJMP, along with the Department of Health (DOH), was still investigating how the infection spread in the jail facility.

Meanwhile, it said that it was still awaiting the results of the remaining "75 PDL, and 18 personnel tested."
