Robredo, in a Facebook post, said they are accepting donations until Dec.  5 to enable them to shift their full attention to the distribution of assistance in affected areas.

These donations will be given to those badly hit by typhoons "Rolly" and "Ulysses" in Luzon, most especially Bicol, her political bailwick.

“This is to allow our office to focus on the distribution of assistance, and to prepare to shift our efforts to help communities towards the rehabilitation phase,” she said.

Donations of food and supplies have poured into the Office of the Vice President. OVP’s partner group also raised P66.1 million in cash donations for the relief efforts as of Nov. 26.

Robredo said her office will continue to update the public on how the donations made by private donors are being used in typhoon-hit areas.

Robredo said they were able to reach out to people in Cagayan, Isabela, Bicol, Quezon, Rizal, and Metro Manila because of the donations.
