ISABELA -- A barangay councilor tagged as the No.1 most wanted person was arrested in Brgy. Trinidad, Mallig here.
Police Capt. Frances Littaua, Isabela PPO information officer, said Gabriel Sambrano, 28 , a barangay councilor and resident of Brgy. Trinidad, Malligwas was arrested on Wednesday for murder.
Capt. Clarence Labasan, OIC, and Highway Patrol Group Isabela led by Maj. Rey Sales, arrested the accused by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Randy B. Bulwayan, Acting Presiding Judge of RTC Br. 23, Roxas, Isabela for the crime of murder docketed under CC no. 23-3965-20 with no bail recommended.
Sambrano was brought to the Mallig police station.
