Actor JM de Guzman is the latest celebrity to complete his training as reservist with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
He expressed happiness over the matter in an Instagram post.
According to the 32-year-old, who is now officially a sergeant, he has learned a lot in training.
He declared readiness in serving the country and helping those in need.
"...or in the dark (as cliche as it may sound) because I was in need of help before and was also in the dark too. So I know how it feels like. Blessed and graced to stand up again and make things right and now it's time for me to give back," he related.
Only a few days ago, Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 winner and actress Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez also completed her training with the Philippine Navy (PN).
Just like JM, actress-singer Arci Muñoz is now also a sergeant having completed her training as Air Force reservist.
