Escudero served as the chairperson of the Comité de Festejos, Cofradía de la Inmaculada Concepción and had a hand in organizing the Intramuros Grand Marian Procession.

“Thank you, Don Ado, for your kindness, love, and genuine concern for the preservation of the Intramuros tradition and culture,” the IA said in Facebook post Sunday.

Escudero is the son of Don Placido Escudero and Dona Claudia Marasigan who founded the popular Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort, considered as one of the oldest tourist destinations in Southern Tagalog  in the boundaries of Quezon  and San Pablo, Laguna.
