Ravena is selling thrift clothes on Instagram to raise funds for San Mateo Pound, which was severely affected by flooding during Typhoon "Ulysses."

"They're really affected by the typhoon and they lost everything. I'm currently raising funds and donations. It may be in cash or food or other necessities. I'll be selling a new batch of clothes, all the proceeds from that will go straight to San Mateo Dog Pound," Ravena said via Instagram story.

The UAAP Season 81 women's volleyball champion said the advocacy is "very close" to her heart.

"It's my way of helping and also just to take care of our fur babies," Ravena added.

The 20-year old libero also encouraged her family, friends, and followers to donate directly to the pound.

"Any amount will do, also they accept in-kind donations. They are one of the very few dog pounds in our country with a 'no mercy killing policy' (they do not euthanize their impounded animals)," Ravena wrote on Instagram.

"I will also be donating so you can send me a DM pag gusto makisabay. Please please please let's help our fur babies," she added.

Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) on Saturday appealed for donations for the dogs in San Mateo Pound.

AKF requested the public to donate cash as well as dog food, food bowls, food containers, blankets, trash bags, and cleaning materials.
